Sunday was a free day to settle in before classes started. My roommates and I had breakfast at the hotel lobby, which was included in our program fee. We explored the beach and the university, then napped before heading to the Greek Orthodox Easter Festival with the whole group. We enjoyed crepes and ice cream—my strawberry crepe was thicker than I'm used to, almost like a pancake, but I enjoyed it. After a shared Margherita pizza for dinner, we watched traditional Cypriot dances and listened to the music. Back at the apartment, I prepared for the first day of classes and then went to bed.
